Canvas print – Dune Ripples in Warm Evening Light

Fine sand ripples and diagonal dune ridges in peach, terracotta and shaded mauve.

The artwork is a photographic composition capturing the rolling curves and fine, rippled textures of desert sand dunes at golden hour. The palette consists of warm, soft tones ranging from peach and terracotta to deep, shaded mauves and soft browns. The composition is defined by diagonal, sweeping ridge lines that separate areas of soft, directional sunlight from smooth, shadowed valleys. Intricate, parallel wind-blown ripples in the foreground sand add a highly detailed texture that contrasts with the softer, out-of-focus background dunes.
