Quality & materials
A good canvas print starts with a design that suits your room. Discover how the material, size and frame work together, and which details to check before making your selection.
What makes a canvas print
Textile surface
The printed fabric has a visible texture and a matte appearance. This is part of the character of canvas; it looks different from a screen or smooth photographic paper.
A stretcher frame
The canvas is stretched over a stable frame. Use the product gallery to compare the design, side views and available finish before choosing.
Your configuration
The sizes and options offered on the product page define your selection. Every design may not be available in every size or finish.
A size that works on your wall
Measure the available wall and consider furniture, lighting and your viewing distance. A paper template in the chosen size makes it easier to judge the effect in your room.
- Check the width and height in the product page’s size selection.
- Compare the crop of your selected format with the design.
- Room images illustrate the visual effect; they do not replace measuring your own wall.
An optional floating frame
A floating frame surrounds the canvas with a visible gap, adding a separate outline. It is an optional premium finish and is not automatically included with a canvas print. The product page shows the available option and the price of your selection.

A print in your chosen configuration
The design and available configuration define the offered finish of your print. Check the material information and views of the particular product before deciding. See shipping & delivery for delivery conditions and costs. Production to order does not automatically mean that a statutory right of withdrawal is excluded.
Looking after your print
- Choose a dry position away from persistent moisture and strong direct sunlight.
- Remove dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive or aggressive cleaning products.
- Choose wall fixings suitable for the wall material, size and weight. Check the accessories and hanging information for your selection.
Materials and appearance: your questions
Why can colours look different on screen?
Screen brightness, colour profiles and device settings affect the image you see. A printed design on textured fabric can therefore look different from an illuminated screen.
Does the basic canvas print include a floating frame?
A canvas on a stretcher frame and an additional floating frame are different finishes. Check your selected frame option and the configuration summary on the product page.
Can I use my own photo?
Yes, through From your own photo. Use a high-resolution original file and check the image content in the preview. Upload only files you are entitled to use for printing.
