Canvas print – A Lively Square After the Rain

A painterly city scene with pedestrians, arcades and reflections on rain-wet paving.

This canvas artwork depicts a busy square between multi-storey city buildings with arcades, tall windows and warm-toned facades. People cross the wet paving, some carrying open umbrellas. Figures and buildings are reflected in the puddles. Loose, painterly areas bring together cream and beige with terracotta, ochre, blue-grey and dark accents. The open perspective and visible brushwork give the city scene a lively yet calm feeling.
